mobility aids
Thanks to the kind donations of our community, we are able to offer a small range of mobility equipment to support your temporary or ongoing needs. This includes manual wheelchairs, zimmer frames, and various sizes of walking sticks.
While these items are completely free to loan, any small donation back to the charity is greatly appreciated and helps us keep this service running. Because our stock is limited, please contact us in advance to check availability.
Sitter service
For a small fee our volunteers visit older residents or those living with health and mobility challenges at home to provide friendly company and companionship, offering a warm smile and a listening ear.
While our volunteers are not medically trained and do not provide physical or medical care, their visits offer invaluable social connection while giving full-time family carers a well-deserved, vital break.
Booking in advance is essential. Please get in touch with our team for further information.
